"Prostitution is one of the oldest trades. The government will not completely weed it out. It will be there. Police will occassionally "show face" to demonstrate to the general public that they are in the loop. In reality , they will not completely "wipe out" this trade. They knows that man pend up demand if not met whether legally or otherwise, it will be very castastrophic. So prostitution or red light districts, will always continue to strive. When there demand, there will be supply. And China is the supplier of all things.. big or small."
