although christmas has never been a great part of my life, this year is the only time i felt like celebrating it.. unfortunately, got no one to celebrate it with, so i decided to run all my errands before the holiday weekend starts.. cos everywhere should be closed until tuesday..
firstly, i went to buy all my groceries, supermarket was packed with people getting their last minute christmas preparations.. yeah! i bought fish!!! been awhile since i had cooked fish at home.. asked my collegue about the kinda fishes she buys, and she said Basa is so far the cheapest and tastes well.. best thing is that it doesnt have much of the fishy smell compared to the rest..
next, i went to have a haircut.. TopImage was empty when i got there, guess everyone's in the holiday mood.. andrew said his workers when for a break since there isnt many customers around.. i decided to have a change of hairstyle, so i told andrew i wanted to keep the hair at the back.. turns out to be sort of similar like felix's.. boring..
then i went bunnings, to buy the sprinklers the mr. browne chewed up.. before i was entering, i saw this old lady sitting in front, asking for donations for the salvation army.. there was one outside winthrop too, but i was working so i din have the change to donate. but anyway, today i gave $10! i think this was the most amount of money i've ever donated in my life.. "Thank you, God bless you! Have a merry christmas!", she said. i was truely happy to hear that, though i'm gonna have to spend my christmas alone, at least my $10 can help some other people have a better christmas than me.
quite sad hor? i'm hoping i dun have to spend new year alone too...
